Solder Ingots, Pellets, and Custom Shapes – Purity, Consistency, and Process Stability for Industrial Applications

SOLDER CHEMISTRY solder ingots, pellets, and other alloy formats stand for metallurgical precision and consistent quality — from the initial melt to the finished product.
With strictly controlled raw materials, defined alloy compositions, and ultra-high-purity processing, our products deliver excellent wetting performance, minimal oxidation, and maximum process reliability.

Our solder materials are manufactured according to state-of-the-art standards and meet the requirements of leading electronics and manufacturing industries.
Whether for wave soldering systems, selective soldering processes, dipping applications, or special use cases — the consistently high purity and narrow alloy tolerances of our products ensure reproducible soldering quality over long operating periods.

In addition to standard alloys (e.g. SnAgCu, SnCuNi, SnPb), we also offer customized compositions — optimized for thermal management, wetting behavior, and residue characteristics.
All products are compatible with modern process requirements and comply with widely recognized standards such as EN ISO 9453, IPC J-STD-006, and industry-specific guidelines.

Sn100Ni – Proven Lead-Free Standard Alloy for Wave and Dip Soldering Processes

Sn100Ni has established itself over many years as a reliable alternative to traditional tin-lead solders and is now one of the most widely used lead-free alloys for wave, selective, and manual soldering applications.
Its well-balanced metallurgical design combines pure tin with nickel and germanium, producing uniform, shiny solder joints that closely resemble the characteristics of Sn/Pb alloys.

The nickel content stabilizes copper dissolution in the solder bath and reduces the formation of intermetallic compounds — a key factor for consistent process quality and extended bath life.
Germanium acts as an antioxidant, minimizing dross formation on the bath surface, which significantly reduces material consumption and maintenance requirements.

With excellent wetting performance, low bridging tendency, and high process stability, Sn100Ni delivers clean, reproducible soldering behavior — entirely lead-free, fully RoHS-compliant, and environmentally responsible.

These properties make Sn100Ni a universally applicable standard alloy in electronics manufacturing — particularly where reliability, cost efficiency, and sustainable process control are paramount.
