A sweet result of sustainable commitment – Our first in-house beehive at SOLDER CHEMISTRY

Sustainability begins where responsibility becomes tangible – and sometimes, it even buzzes.

This year, our first colony of honeybees moved onto the SOLDER CHEMISTRY premises in Landshut.
What started as a small initiative – with just a single hive – has now produced its first meaningful result: our very own site-produced honey.

A Home for Nature’s Most Diligent Engineers

Bees fascinate us for many reasons: they are highly organized, incredibly efficient, and every movement within their system has a purpose – not unlike a precise manufacturing process.
Above all, they are indispensable for the ecological balance that sustains us all.

With our first hive, we have created a safe, pesticide-free habitat right here on our grounds, surrounded by blossoms, wildflowers, and trees. In spring, our beekeepers introduced the colony; throughout the summer, they nurtured and observed its growth – and watched as nectar slowly transformed into golden honey.

Our First Harvest – Truly a Product of the Site

This autumn marked a milestone: for the first time in our company’s history, we harvested our own honey.
Carefully extracted, filtered, and filled into jars – naturally raw, pure, and untreated.

The result is a fragrant, light-golden blossom honey with a fine sweetness and a subtle hint of linden bloom – as distinctive as our location itself.

Because our harvest is limited, this year’s motto is:

“First come, first served.”

A small selection of jars will be available exclusively at our trade show booth – a sweet symbol of our ongoing commitment to sustainability.
